Giovanni Fereoli is a Ph.D. student in Aerospace Engineering Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder, specializing in astrodynamics and spacecraft navigation. Originally from Parma, Italy, he conducts research in the Orbital Research Cluster for Celestial Applications (ORCCA) Laboratory under the guidance of Dr. Jay McMahon. His work focuses on the development of orbit determination algorithms, small-body environment modeling, and autonomous guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) using machine learning.

Giovanni holds a Master of Science in Space Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. He is currently contributing to the Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt as part of the development team behind Scarabaeus, an open-source navigation tool for interplanetary missions.
